Joint cooperation between the Arab Energy Club and OAPEC
In an effort to explore partnerships with leading Arab organizations in the energy field, Dr. Adnan Shihab-Eldin, President of the Arab Energy Club (AEC) and Senior Visiting Research Fellow, Oxford Institute for Energy Studies, met with the Secretary General of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC), Eng. Jamal Essa Al Loughani.
During their meeting at OAPEC’s headquarters in Kuwait, Dr. Adnan and Eng. Jamal discussed increasing participation in events organized by both OAPEC and the Arab Energy Club. They also explored the possibility of jointly organizing future events of mutual interest.
Dr. Adnan Shahab Eldin, President of the Arab Energy Club, shares common ground with many propositions advocated by OAPEC, foremost among them being the commitment to oil and gas alongside other energy sources, including nuclear and renewable energy.
