AEC Annual Meeting in Lebanon, 2018

The AEC’s 2018 annual meeting took place in Beirut, Lebanon, on the 12th of October.

The club’s event featured two sessions addressing critical aspects of energy dynamics. The first session delved into the diversification effects of energy subsidy reform in MENA oil exporters, using Kuwait as an illustration, aiming to shed light on the potential impacts and strategies for reform in the region. The second sessions focused on the strategies employed by energy players amidst times of tension, emphasizing aspects such as growth, profitability, and technological innovations, providing insights into how companies navigate challenges and opportunities in volatile environments within the energy sector.
