AEC Annual Meeting in Kuwait, 2022

The AEC annual meeting took place in Kuwait City, Kuwait, on the 10th of December 2022, featuring three main sessions addressing key issues in the energy sector.

 

The first session delved into the dynamics of the energy market and the implications of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, exploring how geopolitical tensions impact global energy supply and demand. The second session focused on climate change, reflecting on the outcomes of the twenty-seventh Conference of the Parties (COP27) and its implications for energy policies and practices worldwide. Lastly, the third session addressed the challenges facing the Arab energy landscape, discussing regional dynamics, resource management, and sustainable energy development initiatives in the Arab world.

 

Following the event, the club members presented a shield to the family of the late founding member, Abdulla Alnaibari, during a reception hosted by the family of Alnaibari.
