AEC Annual Meeting (Virtual), 2020

The Arab Energy Club (AEC) in partnership with the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC), the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies (OIES) and the Arab Petroleum Investments Corporations (APICORP) organized an online event that discussed the impact of Covid-19 on global energy markets as well as on the energy transition and transformation of the world’s energy systems.

Experts from Arab countries, Europe and the US will join to discuss the scenarios of oil prices, uptake of energy demand and implications of oil market crisis on both hydrocarbon and clean energy sectors and how COVID19 would shape the prioritization of different economic sectors in the Arab region.
